Install Firefox on Redhat 8.0, how to resolve the

I downloaded firefox-1.0PR-i686-linux-gtk2+xft-installer.tar.gz from mozila official website.
When I tried to install it first time, in the progress of installing, the error descripted as below occoured,

extracting libplc4.so...
Fatal error [-618]: Couldn't open xpistub library

I searched through google and found many guys meet same thing as me. They suggested many ways to resolve this problem, but no one was definite.
How can I do?
Step 1.
I add the path of libxpistub.so to /etc/ld.config, rereshed the cache then. I also exported the path to LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
But the installer still failed
Step 2.
I went to firefox website, downloaded non-installer package "firefox-1.0PR-i686-linux-gtk2+xft.tar.gz".
When I run the firefox binary, it said GLIBC_2.3.2 needed
Step 3.
Download Glibc-2.3.2, Glibc-common-2.3.2, Glibc-devel-2.3.2, rpm -Fvh glibc*
After that, I reinstalled the firefox. This time, everything is ok.

Now I can use firefox to browse www.utblog.com. I can use "WYSISWYG" to post my new article. :)
